apply for.
Australia
Council Arts and Culture mainstream programs are open to
people with a disability. There is not a separate disability program.
National
Disability Conference Funding 2002 - 2003. The Office of
Disability has made available funding up to 10 per cent of the cost of
a conference, to a maximum of $7,500 to assist people with disabilities,
their families and/or carers with costs such as travel & accommodation,
conferences fees and interpreters for hearing impaired persons.
Variety
Clubs of Australia Through two of its programs, Variety Sunshine
Coach & “Easy Riders” Wheelchair (EFIP). Variety Clubs
support young people with a disability, as well as other children’s
organizations in Queensland.
Fragile X Syndrome
Fellowship of up to $35,000 per year are available for post-doctoral research;
investigator-initiated research applications with funding of between $30-$50K
are also invited.
The Apex Foundation
Trust for Auction Research grants up to $10,000 are considered
for funding in the area of research and practice to advance the knowledge,
treatment and prevention of autism or to promote the health, welfare and
general well being of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
The Earle
Drews Memorial Award An annual award presented in recognition
of achievement in the advancement of people with a psychiatric illness.
There is a financial grant and trophy. It is open to any individual or
group resident in Queensland.
