Charity Golf Day 4th November 2007
Introduction:
Buddies is holding a fundraising Charity Golf Day at the Headland
Golf Course, Buderim. The purpose is to assist a young local couple,
Meg and Abdul in their quest for the re-settlement of Abdul’s
younger brother Malik. Abdul is a refugee from Afghanistan,
currently living in here on a permanent visa. Malik has now been
orphaned. He is living with an uncle in an area of ongoing conflict
in Afghanistan. Abdul and Meg are grievously concerned about Malik’s
personal safety and future prospects. The legal process to re-settle
Malik is under way. However funds are need to make this happen. Your
support of the Charity Golf Day would be warmly welcomed.
