building construction & restoration, and for expanding the
non-profits endowment base.
The University of Queensland conducted a
successful capital campaign for the restoration of the Customs House
located in the Brisbane C.B.D.
- Two individual graduates from the University
gave $860,000 & $250,000 respectively.
- The appeal chairman gave $100,000 and the
Commonwealth $1,000,000 through its One Nation Statement.
- The campaign included a letterbox drop to
380,000 Brisbane households.
- $5.4M in total was raised.
