Dear friends, colleagues and
supporters,
Just imagine being immobilised, day in, day out. Help me change that for
young people with cerebral palsy. I plan to ride from Brisbane to
Adelaide to raise funds for this most worthy of causes - - young people
with special needs.
The funds raised will be used to purchase ten (10) Hart Walkers. These
are NOT wheelchairs. They are a walking aid which allow children with
moderate to severe disabilities to experience the thrill of hands free
walking. Imagine it!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Variety, The Children's Charity!
Variety provides grants to individuals and organisations for a great
number of items such as special wheelchairs, vocal output speech
devices, prosthetic limbs, special play equipment and liberty swings. We
give grants to hospitals, we provide Sunshine Coaches to special schools
and organisations so that kids can get out and about in the sunshine and
experience life and we also provide children special experiences such as
parties and adventure camps to give them opportunities that able bodied
kids may take for granted.
