In keeping with our policy of supporting the community, Bank of Queensland plays an active and positive role in community life through a variety of sponsorship and fundraising activities.

By supporting medical research and education, we’re helping to build a brighter future for the residents of our great home state.

Equally our support of all levels of sporting endeavour, flagshipped by our sponsorship of the Bank of Queensland Reds Rugby Union team, demonstrates the Bank's strong commitment to the pursuit of excellence through discipline and hard work.

In addition to the Bank’s own sponsorship and fundraising activities, we support staff who are active in the local community through our Matching Gifts program, donating a dollar for every dollar raised by staff for charity.

We want our employees to give to the community by being proud Bank of Queensland representatives every day in their work, but also by rolling up their sleeves and chipping in to support those who need it.

It's all about putting something back into the community which supports us, and creating the sort of State we are proud to call home.

We have also forged an association with the Second Chance Programme, a Brisbane-based charity dedicated to addressing the needs of homeless women.
